Nonprofit Spotlight: Taboo
Taboo is on a powerful mission, to empower local communities and families through essential resources, education and support. Their goal? To create safe, welcoming spaces where families can connect, thrive and grow stronger together.
What makes Taboo truly stand out?
They shine a light on topics that are often left in the dark, conversations many shy away from but that have significant impact our communities:
- Domestic violence
- Raising neurodivergent children (“superpowers”)
- Postpartum challenges
- Parenting support
- Menopause
…and so many more important, taboo subjects.
Concord Chamber of Commerce July Mixer at the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano
The Concord Chamber July Mixer was hosted at the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano, celebrating 50 years of making sure our community is fed and supported. This incredible organization is more than a warehouse of resources; it’s a hub of hope.
The Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano partners with dozens of nonprofits across our counties to reach those who need it most and make a real impact.
It truly takes a village, and the Food Bank is a shining example of what’s possible when we all work together.
