Nonprofit Spotlight: CityServe
CityServe, located in Livermore and Pleasanton, provides comprehensive support to residents in need by coordinating resources from churches, nonprofits, government agencies, and volunteers.
Its services include crisis intervention, senior assistance, homelessness support, food and utility aid, transportation, and programs that promote health and mental well-being. It also connects volunteers with local nonprofits to help meet critical community needs.
Loaves and Fishes
Loaves and Fishes of Contra Costa (LFCC) provides nutritious meals and essential support to individuals and families in need through its five dining rooms and mobile meal units. In addition to serving free hot meals and distributing groceries from its food pantries, LFCC offers a free 12-week culinary training program that equips adults with the skills and experience needed to secure employment in the food industry. LFCC partners with over 100 community-based organizations to expand its reach and ensure comprehensive support for those they serve.
Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance
Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance (TVNPA) is where community empowerment and social change come together. As a collaborative hub, TVNPA strengthens the nonprofit organizations serving the Tri-Valley region and beyond.
TVNPA set out to build a network that supports, uplifts, and unites nonprofits, ultimately contributing to a more vibrant, resilient community. They offer a welcoming space for organizations to connect, address emerging challenges, exchange ideas, and learn from leading experts in the field.
Through workshops and educational sessions covering topics such as effective fundraising, volunteer management, and the latest social impact trends, TVNPA equips nonprofits with the tools and insights they need to grow and thrive.
