LTD Global partners with various non-profit organizations and during this holiday season, we wanted to feature a non-profit that we not only work with, but also believe wholeheartedly in their cause. For this month, we’re featuring the ValleyCare Charitable Foundation, which is an organization that helps fund pioneering programs such as cancer services, as well as cutting-edge equipment for the Emergency and Cardiac Surgery departments, in addition to financial assistance for pulmonary patients, and more.
The ValleyCare Charitable Foundation started as a grassroots movement when the Tri-Valley was just a small farming community and people went door to door to raise funds to build a hospital in the area. The support from the community grew from there and has been thriving ever since. In 2015, Valley Care became affiliated with Stanford Health Care, which added a more renowned expertise to the medical practice, however, the hospital is still a nonprofit and relies on private donations to continue to foster the connection between the people of the Tri-Valley and the medical services that the Stanford Health Care—ValleyCare hospital provides.
